The Hydro Map project is developed under the “Improving the sharing and use of data as evidence for development in Nepal program, supported by, The Asia Foundation, UK Aid and Development Initiatives, implemented by Niti Foundation. The project aims to provide the hydropower related development data for all the stakeholders and help on evidence based policy making. This project is developed in order ensure the availability and accessibility of the hydro power related data to the public, as there is the dire need for this type of data.
